The U.S. Army Transport Miami
This is a view of the transport MIAMI, the vessel that transported the Rough Riders home from Cuba. Note the doors open which are providing ventilation to the crowded areas below decks. Also note the number "1" on the funnel. The transports used were numbered in this way for easy identification.
