The Wreck Site of the CRISTOBAL COLON

Below are photos of the wreck of the Spanish Cruiser CRISTOBAL COLON, which was surrendered and beached during the battle of Santiago. In the hours following the battle, efforts were made to tow here free from the beach. She capsized and sunk on the Cuban coast.
